Hello, my name is Michelle Henderson and I teach kundalini yoga* at Clifton Village Library in Bristol. I have been practising yoga regularly since 2006 and have found kundalini yoga transformative physically, mentally and spiritually which is why I have trained as a teacher. It's often referred to as the 'Yoga of Awareness' as it brings us into a natural state of union with that which is greater than ourselves and harnesses life force energy for peacefulness, balance and growth.

I'm also a post graduate reader in Neuroscience completing a Master of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology for Mental Health with King's College London with a research focus on the benefits of yoga and meditation for wellbeing. I therefore infuse my classes with current findings from neuroscience and related research for the benefit of students whist also enabling them to experience kundalini yoga for themselves and simply enjoy the class.
